Heidi Thompson is a 2D character rigger and designer based in London, UK.

As a kid, I was malleable and was always utterly transported into anything that I watched, I loved feeling all those emotions and that rush of adventure. Fiction is fiction or so they say. I spent years of my childhood wanting to ride a dragon, wanting to master how to fight, code and build robots, save the world and be strong in the all different ways of the characters I’d seen. I never actually grew out of it and I’m still that wide-eyed girl in my heart, except now I go outside and train in my own life to become my own knight, the person I always wanted to be.There’s a famous saying y’know, something about changing the world with a pen, but why not a pencil? I want to change the world. “Wow! Animation that’s so cool, it must be fun.” That’s what everyone says. I’m so proud to be an Animator. There’s never a day I regret choosing this path or all the work I put in.I still carry my favourites in my heart and chase those dreams even in my twenties.
